Jim has special training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy in association with Emory University. His unique compassion and understanding are a hallmark of his therapy. He works with individuals of all ages suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar, and personality disorders, as well as couples and families with various individual and relationship problems. Dr. Marks is an ordained minister and the director of the facility.

 

 

 

Susan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a Masters of Social Work. She has over 25 years of experience working with children and families. She has expertise in marriage and family therapy, physical and sexual abuse issues, and depression and anxiety issues. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults. She does family therapy with a family systems perspective.

 

 

 

Janet holds a Bachelors from Florida State University and a Master’s from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Janet has been in practice since 1992. She serves children, adolescents, and adults. Janet’s clinical practice and passion has been in child abuse/neglect, adult survivors of abuse, step-family, parenting and school related issues.

 

 

 

 


Ken is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work from Andrews University in Michigan. He serves children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with expertise in pre-adolescence and adolescent boys. Ken’s emphasis is on Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapies.

 

 


 


Lori is a licensed professional counselor, specializing with dually diagnosed clients. Lori has a special heart to work with adolescents who struggle with substance abuse issues. Lori works with K.A.R.E. To provide trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to children who have experienced abuse. Lori has a long history of working with children and adolescents in a variety of settings and with a variety of behaviors, issues and family dynamics. Lori's mission is to help the hurting through a Christ-centered cognitive-behavioral approach to healing from past traumas and current psychological and substance abuse issues.

 

Linda is a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist working with adults, teens, and couples.  Her specialties include anxiety, eating disorders, grief, change and transition issues, depression, abuse, stress management, spiritual direction, and relationship struggles.  Dr. Patton's experience in the field of mental health includes being the Director of Family Programs for an eating disorder/chemical addiction hospital, Director of a Christian counseling center, and Director of a partial psychiatric hospital.  Her empathy and openness to all who enter her counseling room is her strength.

 

 

Shellie is a graduate of East Carolina University with Masters degrees in Substance Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling. Shellie has more than 20 years experience working with adolescents in various settings. She specializes in adult and adolescent addictions, depression, abuse and behavioral issues.






Kim is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Kim has worked worked with children and families for 12+ years in counseling, therapeutic foster care, community support, training educational staff on how to work with emotionally challenged children, and counseling them in school districts.  She has also worked with domestic violence, substance abuse, end of life struggles and crisis pregnancies clients.
